Wonderland Play Terms and Conditions
1. Standard Booking Terms and Conditions
1.1. Wonderland Play Limited (“Wonderland Play”) are suppliers of recreational services and facilities to you (the customer).
1.2. By purchasing entry for, or by using any of the facilities at Wonderland Play, the customer agrees to be bound by these conditions.
1.3. The Customer acknowledges these Terms and Conditions contain important information regarding participation in any activity by the customer and any participant within their party and shall ensure that all members of their party are aware of and agree to be bound by this agreement.
1.4. Wonderland Play does not accept responsibility for the loss of property or theft arising from the use of facilities. Money or valuables should therefore not be left unattended.
1.5. Anyone using the Wonderland Play park facilities aged 16 years or under must be accompanied at all times by an adult (18+ years) whilst in the building.
1.6. Whilst using Wonderland Play facilities you consent to images and video being taken for security and/or promotional purposes of yourself, your children or of children for whom you are responsible.
1.7. The Company (“Wonderland Play”) requests that its customers remain vigilant whilst using the SOFT Play and report any suspicions they might have regarding the use of photographic equipment to a member of the company’s staff.
1.8. Once entry to Wonderland Play has been purchased - both online and over the counter - it cannot be transferred or resold. Entry is valid only for the date and time shown and is void if tampered with.
1.9. If you purchase entry to use at Wonderland Play on behalf of another person, you and that other person both agree that you make the purchase as the authorised agent of that other person so that he/she will be bound by these conditions.
1.10. All bookings must be made by credit or debit card and will only be considered final when an email confirmation has been sent to the booking party.
1.11. Confirmation of your transaction will be sent to the nominated email address once your payment for the transaction has been cleared. If you do not receive a confirmation email within two business days, please contact Wonderland Play.
1.12. The customer shall be entitled to cancel a booking, subject to Wonderland Play receiving such request for cancellation at least 48 hours prior to the date and time stated within the Booking Confirmation.
1.13. Wonderland Play will allow the customer to re-schedule a booking provided the notice period within this clause has been given. However, should a booking be cancelled within 48 hours of a confirmed booking then no refund or alternate booking date shall be given.
1.14. Any refund due in accordance with these Terms and Conditions can only be made to the same debit or credit card used to make the booking, or if the card has subsequently expired, by bank transfer.
1.15. Deposit payments are non-refundable.
1.16. You may only cancel an order once it has been submitted and paid, even if a confirmation email from Wonderland Play is still pending.
1.17 Price of the Activity
1.17.1 The prices of the Activity will be as quoted on Our Site at the time you submit a Booking. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the prices of the Activity are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered into Our Site. However please see clause 1.24.4. for what happens if we discover an error in the price of the Activity you have Booked.
1.17.2. Prices for Our Activity may change from time to time, but changes will not affect any Booking you have already made.
1.17.3 The price of the Activity includes VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rate chargeable in the United Kingdom. However, if the rate of VAT changes between the date of the Booking and the date of performance of the Activity, We will adjust the rate of VAT that you pay, unless you have already paid for the Activity in full before the change in the rate of VAT takes effect.
1.17.4 Our Site contains a large number of Activities. It is always possible that, despite Our reasonable efforts, some of the Activity on Our Site may be incorrectly priced. If We discover an error in the price of the Activity you have Booked We will contact you in writing to inform you of this error and We will give you the option of continuing to purchase the Activity at the correct price or cancelling your Booking. We will not process your Booking until We have your instructions. If We are unable to contact you using the contact details you provided during the Booking process, We will treat the Booking as cancelled and notify you in writing. Please note that if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mispricing, We do not have to provide the Activity to you at the incorrect (lower) price.
1.18. The Wonderland Play website may provide links to third-party websites and the products or services of third-parties. Wonderland Play is not responsible and is not liable in any way for third-party content provided on or through the website. Your access or use of the third-party sites is at your own risk.
1.19. Wonderland Play reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Should this occur, as much notice as is available will be given.
1.20. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law, and any disputes relating to this disclaimer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
2. Soft Play Terms and Conditions
2.1. Participants must be aged walking -13 years old.
2.2. All children must be accompanied on-site by a responsible adult (aged 18 or over).
2.3. Accompanying adults are solely responsible for supervising their children and this is not the responsibility of Wonderland Play staff.
2.4. For hygiene reasons, shoes must be removed before entering the play areas and socks MUST be worn at all times by adults and children. If you do not have socks, these are available to purchase at our reception.
2.5. Customers get allotted a 2-hour period of play at Wonderland Play during Peak Times.
3. Wonderland Play Passes/Memberships Terms and Conditions
14-Day & 30-Day Passes
3.1. The 14-Day Pass is valid for 14 two-hour sessions (28 hours in total) sessions from the point of activation.
3.2. The 30-Day Pass is valid for 30 two-hour sessions (60 hours in total) sessions from the point of activation.
3.3. The 14-Day Pass is valid for 14 consecutive days from the point of activation/redemption, including the day of activation.
3.4. The 30-Day Pass is valid for 30 consecutive days from the point of activation/redemption, including the day of activation.
3.5. Passes are considered activated once redeemed for the first use.
3.6. Entitles pass-holder to a maximum of two-hour sessions per day, per pass-holder.
3.7. No cash equivalent.
3.8. Non-transferable; pass can be redeemed by one customer, the pass-holder, only.
3.9. Wonderland Play reserves the right to remove any customer’s Pass if any of the above rules are contravened or not strictly adhered to.
3.10. The Pass must be activated within 12 months from date of purchase.
4. Gift Cards and Gift Tins Terms and Conditions
Gift Tins
4.1. Gift Tin vouchers can be redeemed at any Wonderland Play site.
4.2. Lost, stolen or damaged cards will not be replaced unless it has a valid code on the back which proves purchase and bounces still remaining on it.
4.3. You must be present with this voucher when you want to redeem entries to Wonderland Play.
4.4. The gift card will expire 12 months after purchase, without notice, and any remaining entries remaining on the voucher after this date will not be refunded and cannot be redeemed.
4.5. The card cannot be exchanged for cash. No change or cash refunds will be given.
4.6. The number of entries to a Wonderland Play that this card permits is stated on the front of the card. The remaining number of entries (if a multi-pass) are indicated on the back.
Gift Cards
5.1. Wonderland Play Exeter & Wonderland Play Newton Abbot (collectively herein called Wonderland Play) Gift Cards/Vouchers can be used to purchase goods or services at Wonderland Play or online at www.wonderlandplay.co.uk.
5.2. Protect this card and treat it as cash; lost, stolen or damaged cards will not be replaced.
5.3. You must be present with your Wonderland Play Gift Card when you make purchases at Wonderland Play.
5.4. This gift card will expire 12 months after purchase, without notice, and any remaining balance will be non-refundable.
5.5. Gift Cards can be activated with a minimum value of £10 and a maximum value of £100.
5.6. This card cannot be exchanged for cash. No change or cash refunds will be given, but any balance remaining on the card may be applied to future purchases, provided that the card has not expired.
5.7. In the event of any dispute, the decision of Wonderland Play is final.
5.8. Wonderland Play reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
6. Discount Code Terms and Conditions
6.1 Blue Light Discount (applies to; Emergency services, NHS & Military services Emergency services staff members and military personnel are eligible for a 10% discount on using code “services”. This discount is valid on full-priced sessions only and a valid ID card must be shown on arrival.
6.2 Can be redeemed against full-price sessions only - General Bounce, Family Bounce and Tots Club, by using the code “services”. Cannot be redeemed against any other session type, grip socks, in-store purchases or birthday parties.
6.3. Discount can be applied to one single booking for a maximum of 4 people, for the badge/card holder and three card holders.
7. Extras
7.1. We amend these Terms from time to time. Every time you submit a Booking Form to Us, please check these Terms to ensure you understand the terms which will apply at that time. These Terms were most recently updated on 04/10/2024
7.2. Every time you make a Booking on our site, the Terms in force at the time of your Booking will apply to the Contract between you and us.
7.3. If we have to revise these Terms as they apply to your Booking, we will contact you to give you reasonable advance notice of the changes and let you know how to cancel the Contract if you are not happy with the changes. You may cancel either in respect of all the affected Activity or just the Activity you have yet to receive. If you opt to cancel, we will arrange a full refund of the price
